Thank you for voting us "1st Place - Best Fitness Center 2009"
The "Best of the Peninsula" was revealed today in the Friday/Saturday edition of the Peninsula Daily News. The PDN ballot award named dozens of Peninsula shopping, restaurant and other businesses as 'best' in this reader's choice award. We will strive to maintain our title for years to come. We'd like to say thanks to those who have experienced the YMCA and invite those who have not to see what all the fuss is about.
The way it works is simple: If your friend joins and pays monthly, you get a month free; if he or she joins and pays semi-annually, you get 2 months free; an annual payer nets you a generous 3months free YMCA membership. So go ahead and talk to your friends, neighbors and relatives about the great things the Y can do for them and start watching your savings grow. The best thing about being a YMCA member aside from all the personal benefits, is you can help to build a stronger, healthier Clallam County, including those who can't afford to pay full price.
Teens on Machines
Every Tuesday and Thursday from 4-5 p.m. our fitness center is open to our teen members for supervised strength training. Once maturity and ability to work out safely is demonstrated, youth can use the facility unsupervised during open hours.
When using the facility and/or signing up for classes,
your membership card must be presented and scanned.
Diverse Facility for Varied Interests Your membership entitles you to use the facility
including the fitness center, studio, gym, racquetball courts, locker
rooms, and saunas.
Free Aerobics Classes All of our various fitness classes including Indoor Cycling,
Zumba, Kickboxing, Yoga, and Active Older Adults are free with your membership.

Special Member Pricing on Programs Such As North Olympic YMCA CrossFit Your YMCA, which is the exclusive CrossFit affiliate on the peninsula, is open to YMCA members at $55/month. Compare that to $150 for program members and the benefit is undeniable. Your YMCA offers CrossFit Families free of charge to YMCA Family Members. Other YMCA programs also offer reduced program pricing for YMCA members.
Easy Online Program Registrations and Membership Renewals That's right, you can register for many YMCA programs anytime, day or night, in the comfort of your own home. Once you have an account, you can also update your address and renew your membership online. That is service you can't get at other wellness centers. You can join online after reviewing our fees, below.
Fitness Equipment Orientations Orientations are offered for both our weight and
cardiovascular rooms. To gain maximum benefit from your workout, a fitness
orientation with trained staff member is highly recommended. Orientations can
be scheduled at the service counter. Please note that age restrictions
apply to usage of the equipment. For information about Teen Memberships and use of the facility, please go to our membership page.
