Art & Fun Gym Birthday Party Instructor Starting $8.10/hour (Position is Open ) Job Description
Instructors need primarily to love kids and have fun while creating a safe and positive learning atmosphere for youngsters. This position requires working a few hours every Sunday or as needed based on Party registration.
Camp Pahata Summer Counselor (Female) $250/week (Position is Open)Job Description Camp Pahata is a weeklong YMCA resident camp that is located on Lake Crescent at Camp David, Jr. The camp is run as a traditional Summer Camp where groups of kids in the same age group share a cabin with a counselor and throughout the day participate in a variety of activities. Successful applicants are positive role models who can enforce camp rules and ethics and have fun with kids.
Camp Sutherland Camp Lifeguard $250/one session $550/both (Closed ) See below for information regarding this camp. Lifeguards must be 18 years of age or older, have a Red Cross Lifeguard certification, Waterfront certification and CPR/1st Aid certification.
Camp Sutherland Summer Counselor (Closed) Camp Sutherland is a weeklong YMCA resident camp (two sessions) that is located on Lake Sutherland at Fisher Cove. Successful applicants will have desire and experience working and playing with kids between 8 and 13 years of age.
Group Leader--Y's Kids (Closed) On site after-school child care is something that YMCAs are famous for and ours is no different. We currently offer child care at 5 local elementary schools. The person in this important role is responsible for the supervision and safety of children between 5 and 12 years of age. If you are interested in providing a safe and fun learning environment for school-agers this could be the perfect position for you.
Gymnastics Instructor/Party Starting $8.10/hour
(Position is Open) Job Description Gymnastics Instructors must exhibit an energetic and fun personality that is able to engage children while commanding respect of children and adult participants alike. Focus is on safety, skill and fun.
Membership Services Representative--MSR I (Closed)
The Service Counter is where future members become new members and program participants get the needed information for enrollment in our popular programs. Check, cash handling, computer work and lots of smiles and helping hands are involved in this fast-paced, multi-tasking position.
Playcare Aide (Closed)
This service is available for parents who are working out at the Y. We offer, for a small fee, care for members' children who are between 0 and 11 years of age. Staff must love working with children and exhibit patience and initiative.
Saturday Night Live (SNL) Teen Aide (Closed)
SNL is a recreational program for youth, grades 5 through 8. Every week teens have the YMCA all to themselves from 7-10 p.m. and are entertained with basketball, racquetball and monthly dances. Caring staff provide a safe place for youth to recreate while providing leadership and constructive supervision.
Site Director--Y's Kids (Closed) Planning, supervising, coordinating, and meticulous record-keeping are part of this demanding but rewarding position. If you are detail-oriented, have good disciplinary skills and the desire to create a fun and safe learning environment for after-school youth, please apply in person today.
Y House Aide (Closed ) This position is responsible for the administration of the Y House teen center. It requires a strong ability to develop rapport with young people while serving as a positive role model. Must be at least 21 years of age to apply.
